Community & Content Guidelines

Modesty is a sanctuary for single Black Christians seeking Christ-centered relationships. Everything we allow — and everything we don't — flows from that one purpose. We expect every member to treat one another with the same kindness, honesty, and modesty they would want shown to them.

• Clear, recent photos of yourself, fully clothed.
• A faith statement that honestly reflects your walk.
• What you're praying for in a partner and in life.
• Hobbies, gifts, callings, and what your week actually looks like.
• Thoughtful messages — start conversations you'd want to receive.

• Nudity, sexually explicit content, or suggestive imagery — no exceptions. This includes photos, videos, audio, and text.
• Sexual solicitation, hookup language, or transactional dating (sugar arrangements, escort services).
• Harassment, hate speech, slurs, or discrimination based on race, gender, denomination, or any protected category.
• Scams, catfishing, impersonation, or fake profiles.
• Asking for or sending money, gift cards, crypto, or financial information.
• Off-platform solicitation for businesses, MLMs, or services.
• Content that promotes violence, self-harm, illegal drugs, or any unlawful activity.
• Profiles of anyone under 18. Modesty is strictly adults-only.
• Photos or videos of other people without their clear consent.
• Doxxing, sharing private information, or non-consensual contact.

Use real, recent photos of yourself. Group shots are fine if you're clearly identifiable. We automatically scan uploads for nudity and prohibited content; flagged media is removed and reviewed by our team.

Audio prompts and short videos follow the same standard: keep it respectful, modest, and true to who you are.

Conversations are private, but our standards still apply. Be the kind of message recipient you'd want to be. Listen. Don't pressure. Don't push for explicit content, off-platform contact within minutes, or financial favors.

You can unmatch or block any member at any time. We never tell the other person you did.

If something doesn't feel right, tell us. Tap Report on any profile, message, or piece of media. You can also email support@modesty-dating.online directly.

Reports are confidential. We aim to review every report within 24 hours and emergency reports faster.

Depending on severity, violations may result in:

• A warning and content removal.
• Temporary suspension of messaging or matching.
• Permanent account termination, with no refund.
• Referral to law enforcement when conduct may be illegal — including, without delay, anything involving minors.

We err on the side of protecting our community. Decisions are made in good faith and are final, though you may appeal by emailing support.

We are a community of people walking with Christ — imperfect, growing. When a brother or sister stumbles into unkindness or pride, we hope for repentance before consequence wherever it's safe to do so. But safety, dignity, and the witness of our community always come first.
